Ah, summer! Finally time for outdoor activities, barbeques, and celebrations in the sun. This is an exciting time of the year at Larsen Transfer. Warmer weather always fills our calendars with sports tournaments, games, and fun recreational events. We love Spring and Summer in the Tri-Cities, WA. It’s also a busy time for our Storage Hero. He can be seen all around town, pictured on our portable storage containers – keeping items secure and perishable items cool.
In fact, in late April Larsen Transfer donated one of our Storage Hero portable storage containers to the Three Rivers Lacrosse Club’s annual Shootout event at Columbia Park in Kennewick, WA. This is a big event that brings 50 teams from all over the northwest and 1,000 players ages 8 – 17. The event is a boon for local tourism, hospitality, and recreation industries. Over 3,000 people will be convening in the Tri-Cities, bringing in about $500,000 to the local economy. The lacrosse club uses the containers to securely store their nets, equipment, and other gear. Larsen Transfer is glad to donate a container to the lacrosse club to help them with their storage needs.
Moreover, last year, Larsen Transfer was the premier storage partner for the Tri-City Water Follies boat races, which are held every summer in the Tri-Cities. Our cold storage containers were used to maintain all food, beverages, and concessions cool and securely stored.
